The problem

The solution
A conversational agent was integrated into Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Teams using a Model Context Protocol server. The architecture establishes read-only connectivity to core enterprise platforms, allowing users to query synchronized aggregates and live records using natural language. The service enforces strict role-based data permissions, rejecting raw write requests while returning metadata regarding source match confidence.
