Branch operations performance tracking platform

A unified operational tracking system that normalizes task complexity and connects warehouse activity with labor and order data across branch locations.

Built for warehouse staff, branch supervisors, and regional leadership across the branch network of an industrial equipment business.

Unlike high-level inventory records that only register completed transactions, this tool captures granular step-by-step activity, handling complexity, and operational delays directly from the warehouse floor.

The problem

Operational data was fragmented across enterprise resource systems, customer support logs, spreadsheets, and timecards, obscuring how work was actually performed. Standard output metrics failed to account for variable order difficulty or delays caused by unavailable equipment, missing materials, and incorrect item data. Consequently, operational bottlenecks were difficult to separate from employee performance, and customer fulfillment issues could not be traced back to root causes.

The solution

The application aggregates transaction records, customer service cases, and labor hours into a centralized operational data layer. Warehouse team members use mobile devices and workstations to log active tasks, delays, and rework in real time. This allows the system to normalize productivity metrics based on handling complexity and provide comparable performance data across all branches.

The goal

Establish a standardized operations platform to accurately measure, compare, and improve workflow efficiency across all branch locations.
