Unified operations console and order assistant

An operational console that unifies enterprise data to automate quality control, streamline order requests, and track back orders across customer service teams.

Built for customer service representatives, sales teams, and operations managers at an industrial equipment business, this platform serves as the central workspace for handling customer accounts, inventory checks, and order entries.

Unlike traditional setups that require staff to switch between disconnected CRM and ERP systems, the application synchronizes source records into a single interface and applies automated validation rules to catch entry discrepancies before orders are fulfilled.

The problem

Customer, inventory, and order records were split across separate CRM and ERP databases, requiring staff to manually cross-reference multiple screens to build quotes or look up stock. Transaction errors like incorrect billing terms, freight method mismatches, and missing purchase orders were often caught only after dispatch. Furthermore, tracking back orders required manual communication across internal teams, leaving promised delivery dates unrecorded in core systems.

The solution

The team deployed an operational console that indexes and continuously mirrors source records into a single fast-lookup layer. Automated quality checks inspect new quotes and sales orders shortly after creation, flagging inconsistencies against customer profiles before shipment. The tool also provides a guided request builder that turns freeform text or voice notes into priced line items with automated freight method selection.

The goal

Enable customer service agents to process routine orders and track back-order fulfillment from a single interface while intercepting order errors proactively.
