Built for sales representatives, marketing coordinators, and warehouse fulfillment teams at an industrial equipment business needing an orderly way to manage collateral and branded merchandise.
Instead of coordinating physical marketing assets through separate spreadsheets and manual paperwork, the application provides a storefront interface linked directly to ERP inventory records, paired with event tracking and return-to-stock workflows.
The problem
Promotional items and printed materials were tracked inconsistently across spreadsheets and the corporate ERP, leaving sales representatives uncertain of actual stock levels. Processing fulfillment requests required manual coordination, and marketing had no clear record of items issued for specific trade shows. Sales reps also lacked a straightforward system to locate and share digital counterparts of physical brochures.
The solution
The team created a web application that imports live inventory counts from the ERP into an intuitive visual catalog. The platform allows sales staff to request physical shipments or email digital materials directly to clients, generating the required inventory transfer orders automatically. It also ties requests to unique event identifiers and includes a dedicated workflow for returning unused stock to the warehouse.
